I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: I love bath and beauty products! There’s just something fun and girly about buying new bubble bath, lotion or lipgloss. It makes me happy.
Now normally, I’m a fan of sweet things – things that smell like pudding – but I changed my tune recently when I checked out Tuscan Farm Gardens in Langley. This organic family farm specializes in local, plant-based products, made with essential oils and wild herbs from across Canada’s Westcoast. Their selection includes bath and shower products, olive oil soaps, super mild bath and body products for kids, natural lip balms, organic teas and more. Everything is organic and made without harsh chemicals or additives, so they’re safe and effective for even the most sensitive skin. They also smell divine! Luscious lavender, invigorating lemongrass, soothing honey and chamomile, refreshing peppermint, warm locorice and lovely rosemary are just a few of the natural scents you’ll enjoy.
You can order online and they also sell through a variety of retailers. However, I’d suggest taking the time to visit their apothecary shop if you’re in the neighbourhood. It sits on the most gorgeous farmland property and you’ll be served complimentary organic lavender tea as you peruse the shelves of products. I felt warm and welcome and not just because of the decor. Owners Heather and Arleigh Fair are lovely people, who will make you feel right at home.
I picked up the Lemongrass Body Polish and the Lavender Body and Environment Spray, both of which made me feel bright, healthy, fresh and happy! What more could I ask for? They’re a lovely, natural addition to my bevy of beauty products.
