It’s that time of year again!! The time when I start to pack away my summer skirts and tanks and begin craving the warmth of cozy sweaters, cute jeans and great boots. You too?

Dena’s carries an awesome selection of classic, contemporary pieces to ehance your wardrobe. Featuring brands like Velvet (one of my all-time faves for comfy tee’s and great dresses!), Line Knitwear, D.E.P.T., Michael Kors, Jacqueline Conoir, and Matt and Nat (among others), Dena’s definitely focusses on carrying quality labels for the ladies. The shop even carries a select few bags from Kathy Van Zeeland, which I know many of you adore (cause you’ve written to ask where to get ‘em!)
And best of all??? Owner Dena Tayler is an Urban Suburban, just like us!! How can we not love that?
I’ve been a city girl all my life and three years ago I moved out of Vancouver to Langley to live with my boyfriend. I couldn’t find a place to work out here. I’ve been in the fashion industry for years and I could only get a job in a big-box store or change into another career — I wasn’t going to commute, that’s for sure. My boyfriend encouraged me to open my own boutique and we jumped in with both feet. I invested my little nest egg and he built me a beautiful store and I opened in three months.
