I know, I know, everytime I find a new store it becomes “my new favourite.” Truth is, they’re ALL my favourites! So Bevy’s is really just an addition to an already-outstanding selection of fabulous boutiques out here in the Valley.
I wandered into Bevy’s over the weekend with my girlfriend “N”. We had just finished a run in Fort Langley (because she convinced me that training for the Vancouver 1/2 marathon was a good idea and in a moment of insanity I agreed!) We were gross and sweaty, so in no condition to try on any of the beautiful clothes, but I will be back!
A casual and comfortable, yet high-end boutique, Bevy’s features premiere brands, such as Frye, Soia & Kyo, bobi, Joe’s, C&C California, t bags and Sam Edelman. The store is pretty but relaxed, with a Yaletown feel and the women were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Don’t you love that? I do. If you’ve read my site before, you already know my opinion on poor customer service…I have no patience for it…Needless to say, I was very happy in Bevy’s (as I generally am in shops out here…Maybe it’s a Valley thing…)
I have no fun stories to tell you about the gorgeous clothes I bought, but I do hear they carry fabulous tank tops for all you Yummy Mommies! One of my readers wrote to tell me about them and says they’ll disguise all the bits you mama’s deal with post-pregnancy. And speaking of mom’s, Bevy’s has a great “how we came to be” story, in celebration of women and mom’s. Love it.
