I met Jennifer Koning, founder of JK Models, back in December 2008 when she was a Suburban newbie getting her business up and running. Now, after months of sweat and tears, she is officially celebrating the launch of JK Models and I am so excited for her! Congrats Jen, so proud of you!!

South Surrey based JK Models is hosting their Grand Opening Launch Party on May 21st at Blushing Boutique (579 Richards Street, Vancouver), from 7pm-11pm. This is going to be a wonderful event! Come along to see some of the models, enjoy some treats & wine, and try some gorgeous fashions by designer Shelley Klassen of Blushing Boutique.
JK Models launched in December 2008, with the intention to help break down the barriers and restrictions of the beauty industry. Founder Jennifer Koning has over a decade of experience as both a fashion model, and a brand marketing manager for many big name promotional campaigns. Jennifer believes there should be no height or weight restrictions for models, and instead focuses on promoting healthy bodies of all shapes and sizes.
There are lots of fantastic items to bid on at the silent auction, with ALL proceeds going to the Looking Glass Foundation! Help to build Canada’s first treatment center for adolescents suffering from eating disorders.
