Mark your calendar for the July 8th Grand opening of The Langley Community Farmers Market.

The Langley Community Farmers Market will run each Wednesday from July 8^th, 2009 through October 7^th, 2009 from 3pm to 7pm in the Glover Road Parking lot at Kwantlen, Langley Campus.

Come visit with more than 30 vendors each week selling fresh produce, eggs, berries, honey, plants, herbs, cheese, preserves, seafood & meat. Enjoy live entertainment, various artisan stalls and non-profit groups. The market offers limited free parking and promises fun for the whole family. 

They’re also still looking for volunteers for market days and for two subcommittees.

The market is scheduled to run from July 8 to Oct. 7, from 3 to 7 p.m. each Wednesday night. On market days, people are needed for set up, tear down, directing parking and monitoring the market information tent.

Volunteers are also needed on the marketing and promotions and volunteer and community partnerships committees.
