Was doing some puttering around in Abbotsford recently and popped into Gabby’s and her sister boutique, Plouteo.  Located on Montrose Ave, these ajoining shops had lots of fashionable finds for you style mavens!

Gabby’s motto, “life is an occasion, dress for it!” is a good fit for the shop, which carries brands like Cartise, Nueva, Pure, Parkhurst, Jeanne Pierre, Jag Jeans, Spanner and Conrad ‘C’.  Alot of classy, practical pieces, mixed in with elegant dresses and eveningwear.  Seemed to me they gear this shop to an older demographic…clothes my fashionista-mom would love!

Plouteo was definitely more to my taste, carrying younger, current fashions from brands like Sandwich, Bandolera and Mexx.  Their motto is “fashion is an attitude, not an age”, so they focus on classic clothing, with a fun and funky twist.

It comes as no surprise that they often have moms and daughters shopping together!  Plus, both shops carry fabulous accessories, purses and footwear, which everyone loves.

They also offer wardrobe consultations to help you make your best fashion decisions.  So even if your mom or best friend can’t join you, you’ll have someone by your side to tell you what looks fab…and not so fab.
