I’m home from my fabulous getaway in Penticton! Had four awesome days of winery tours, indulging in yummy food and cocktails, floating down the canal and go-carting at Okanagan Amusements Family Fun Park…you’ll have to e-mail me to find out the story behind that one.
Longer post about my trip is coming, but had to share one quick thing with you. I visit the Okanagan every year to stock up on wine, but I also go to stock up on my absolute favourite salad dressing – Roast Garlic Balsamic Vinaigrette by Okanagan Wineland Dressings. It is THE best salad dressing…like, ever. I mean it. I love this stuff.
So, as usual, I picked up a stock of dressing again this year…but guess what I found out? It’s available right here in Langley! I’m so excited, you have NO idea. The Wine Emporium on 48th Ave (Murrayville) and Moreno’s Market (on 200th) both carry it. Now I don’t have to conserve every last drop of it all year long! And Bub can eat as much dressing as he wants without me giving him a death glare.
All Okanagan Wineland Dressings are hand-made in small batches from the finest available ingredients, locally sourced where possible. Use it on meat as a marinade, as a dip for bread, on pasta, or on regular veggie salads. It’s amazing. I promise, you’ll want to lick the bottle clean.
The garlic vinaigrette is my fave, but the Rasberry and Black Pepper Vinaigrette (amazing on spinach salads) and the Cilantro Lime Vinagirette are also both outstanding. Give them a try! You won’t be disapointed.
