I love wine. I love art. And I love giving back to the community. So this story is right up my alley! Hopefully it’s of interest to you too!

I’m always impressed by the array of ethnic food available in the Valley. Bub and I are big Japanese, Indian, Vietnamese and Chinese food fans and there never seems to be a shortage of options close by. So when we were craving Indian cuisine recently, we didn’t hesitate to check out a new place that [...]
I remember my mom and Nanny making homemade perogies growing up. Oh, how I loved them! To this day, perogies with butter, onions and sour cream are still one of my favourite comfort foods. They’re also Bub’s favourite! So on a cold, rainy Fall night recently, we gave into our craving and decided it was [...]
I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that Fort Langley’s eighteen 27 Piano and Martini Bistro recently changed their menu and updated their website. I HAVE NOT BEEN IN SINCE THEY MADE THEIR CHANGES, so no idea if they’ve improved upon their previous offerings.

This post is a long time coming, since I dined at Evangeline’s BBQ & Contemporary Soul Food quite some time ago, while I was out & about exploring our beautiful Valley. Was on my own, [...]
Still a month away, but excitement is growing (well mine is anyway) for Eat! Fraser Valley, held at Tradex in Abbotsford September 11th – 13th.
I’m a huge fan of the Food Network and super excited to check out some of their special guests gracing the Celebrity Stage, including David Rocco and Ned Bell. The Grapes and Hops Presentation [...]

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that 1827 Piano and Martini Bistro recently changed their menu and updated their website. I HAVE NOT BEEN IN SINCE THEY MADE THEIR CHANGES, so no idea if they’ve improved upon their previous offerings. From your comments, I see that [...]
A while back, I was invited (along with a few others) by Top Table Restaurant Group to visit Yaletown’s famed Blue Water Cafe to taste their innovative culinary creations. Our adventures were to be captured by CBC television, for a special called The Great Food Revolution, in which producers were searching for food trends of the future.
