How do businesses become listed on My Urban Suburban?
I have personally tried on, applied, eaten, drank, visited, and otherwise experienced everything on this site. If you don’t see something listed here, it’s likely because I haven’t gotten there yet…but I will! Send me an e-mail to theurbansuburban@gmail.com and remind me about this fabulous business or product. I’ll check it out as soon as I can.
Businesses listed in the Little Black Book are all linked to their reviews on the site.
Note: If I post about a business or service who I have not tried, but they’re having an awesome sale, hosting a party, or celebrating a grande opening (or doing something I think you might care about), I’ll clearly indicate that I have not tried them. I won’t pretend to endorse something I know nothing about.
Do you get paid for reviews?
No m’am! I don’t make a single pretty penny from editorial content on this site. I recommend everything here because I had a fabulous experience with it, and want you to do the same.
What if I don’t exactly fall into the “urban” category? I’m just a small, locally-owned business looking for some new clients? Will you still write about me?
